1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hazel, a service operated by xVentures AI Inc ("we," "us," "our"), a New York corporation.

By texting (929) 828-4141 or using texthazel.com, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Hazel Is

Hazel is reminders, memory, and a quiet safety net, all over SMS.

Important: Hazel is not a medical device, medical alert system, or emergency service. If there is a real emergency, always call 911 or your emergency contact directly. Hazel's messages — including her quiet-period check-ins — are never urgent alerts.

Hazel is powered by artificial intelligence. While we work to make her reliable and consistent, we do not guarantee that every reminder, message, or check-in will be delivered or acted on exactly as expected.

4. The Quiet-Period Safety Net

If you set up a safety-net contact list, Hazel may reach out to a contact on that list if she has not heard from you for an extended period. This feature is a floor, not a monitoring system — it exists for the rare occasion you go unusually quiet, and it is not a substitute for emergency services, medical alert devices, or regular contact with family.

Anyone on your safety-net contact list must confirm by replying to a one-time text before they will ever be contacted about you. You can turn the entire safety net off at any time by replying MUTE.

We do not guarantee that the safety net will detect every instance of an extended silence, that a contact will respond, or that any particular outcome will result from an alert.

5. Family Access

Your conversation with Hazel belongs to you. Family members are not automatically given access to it. If you choose to grant a family member access to a status view, that access is limited and revocable by you at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

xVentures AI Inc is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including any harm resulting from a missed reminder, a missed or delayed safety-net alert, or reliance on Hazel in place of emergency services.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question, if any.

7. User Conduct

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when setting up or using the service
• Not abuse, harass, or threaten Hazel or our staff
• Not use the service for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The Hazel name, logo, and service are the property of xVentures AI Inc. You may not use our branding without written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to stop providing service to any user at our discretion.

You can stop using the service at any time by replying STOP or simply not texting.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
